This summer and fall, it’s all about that GLOW baby! My current obsession? Glowing brighter than the sun! This palette came in with a bang for sure and said “hello! I’m here!” The Anastasia Beverly Hills Moonchild Glowkit is soo fierce! You get six shades for the retail price of $40 and each shade is highly pigmented and very unique! These are all head-turner, show-stopping, GORGEOUS shades you will not want to miss out on!
I will say however, they are not as pigmented as the other ABH glowkits but these shades are meant to be either a subtle beautiful glow or build it up for an intense, and dramatic look. To get the best result, lightly wet your brush then apply. This makes the color “pop” and you can see the reflection better.
The first shade is called “Blue Ice” this is known to be diamond white highlight with an ice blue reflect. In some lighting this almost looks lavender.
The second shade is called “Star” this is a moonstone gray highlight with a platinum silver reflect. That one is a statement shade for sure!
My personal favorite is called “Horseshoe” this is a glittery lavender highlight with a blue and lavender reflect. This is a very cosmic color and is very good for all the “art” lovers who love to experiment. This shade is actually the most pigmented in the whole palette. It looks like a deep purple but in some camera lighting may look pinker. You can find this swatch on my IG (honey_milk_tea).
This next shade is so adorable! It reminds me of sailor mini moon from the classic 90’s anime Sailor Moon! It’s called “Pink Heart” This is described as a pearl white with an opal reflect. On my skin tone, it just looks like a pastel pink highlight with a darker rose pink reflect. Also one of the more pigmented shades and definitely in my top 3!
“Lucky Clover” is one of the most unique shades in this whole palette and it’s absolutely stunning! Hunty, you don’t need to follow a rainbow to find the treasure. This is a shamrock infused gold highlight with a canary yellow reflect. In the sun this looks like a beautiful glittery green/gold.
The very last shade is called “Blue Moon” this is described as a frozen blue highlight with a silver reflect. On my skin tone, this looks almost identical to the star shade but slightly whiter to reflect. If you haven’t got it yet, get it! It’s your time to Glow up!
